The Telemetry Registered Nurse performs the primary functions of a nurse in assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care. The position is at a 16-bed small-format hospital with eight ER beds and eight inpatient beds, on a night shift from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., and is PRN. Night and weekend shift differentials are offered. Emerus partners with health systems to provide care in neighborhood-based small-format hospitals. Its hospitals are fully accredited and provide individualized care. The ideal candidate has experience caring for higher-acuity inpatients in a fast-paced hospital, managing cardiac, hypertensive, and insulin infusions, interpreting cardiac rhythms, and supporting patients using BiPAP or high-flow oxygen. The nurse collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and telemedicine providers and may help stabilize critically ill patients, including ventilated patients awaiting transfer to a higher level of care.
