As a Telemetry Monitor Technician, you’ll monitor cardiac rhythms from the Central Monitoring Unit, interpret changes, and communicate updates to nursing staff in real time. You’ll manage documentation, handoffs, and workflows that support patient safety across multiple campuses. This role requires strong focus, accuracy, and comfort working with technology in a fast-paced environment. Working as a Monitor Tech gives you experience with cardiac rhythms, dysrhythmia interpretation, and system-wide communication — a strong foundation for future growth in telemetry, cardiology, or acute care. You’ll build skills in rhythm recognition, documentation, teamwork, and escalation processes. With structured orientation, Basic Dysrhythmia training, and support from experienced preceptors, you’ll gain confidence quickly and develop a solid understanding of cardiac monitoring.
