About The Position

Corvid's Range Engineering & Instrumentation team is seeking entry-level engineers with an electrical or mechanical engineering background to support the Transportable Telemetry Systems (TTS) program. The TTS systems are land and sea-based telemetry data acquisition systems that provide real-time remote system performance data for missile tests, primarily conducted in the Pacific Theater. This role involves active engagement with customers and stakeholders, providing onsite support for test events. The candidate will travel with the team, often onboard vessels supporting flight tests, requiring travel more than 50% of the time. Responsibilities include electronic system design, modernization, maintenance, component testing, configuration, operations, simulations, technical data reduction and analysis, programming instrumentation, and producing detailed technical documentation. The engineer will communicate technical status through reports and updates, developing expertise in telemetry equipment and test range operations.

Requirements

  • US Citizen
  • Meet eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (other engineering disciplines will be considered)
  • Demonstrated interest and ability in electronics
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work in physically demanding situations, including outdoors, at heights more than 20 feet above ground, and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Available to travel for up to two weeks at a time
  • Available to spend significant time on a ship in the Pacific
