About The Position

Corvid's Range Engineering & Instrumentation supports the Transportable Telemetry Systems program and has an opportunity to add entry-level engineers with an electrical or mechanical engineering background. The TTS systems are both land and sea-based telemetry data (real-time remote system performance data) acquisition systems that support missile tests conducted primarily in the Pacific Theater. This position is actively engaged with customers and a variety of stakeholders – providing onsite support for test events in the pacific. Candidate will travel with the team, often onboard one of the vessels used to support flight tests (the position will require consistent, planned travel more than 50% of the time). Responsibilities include (but not limited to) electronic system design, modernization, maintenance, component testing, configuration, operations, simulations, performing technical data reduction and analysis, programming instrumentation, and producing detailed technical documentation. Candidate will work to communicate technical status through well-documented reports and updates. This opportunity will allow an engineer to develop expertise in both telemetry equipment and test range operations (or apply experience they already possess).
