Telehealth Medical Assistant- Bilingual- Tampa
About The Position
MaxHealth is looking for a full-time Medical Assistant to handle tele-visits. Candidates must have strong computer skills, be able to trouble shoot & help patients join the visit electronically. Candidates must be bilingual English/Spanish and located in the state of Florida to be considered for this position. Experience doing televisits is required to be considered for this position. Healow experience preferred. Starting Salary- $20.00 an hour. Normal hours of operation are Monday- Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as an Medical Assistant
- Strong Customer Service skills
- Experience with Tele-vists, preferably using Healow
- Computer proficient (experience using EMR/EHR)
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Located in the state of Florida

Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and triage them upon arrival.
- Prepare patients to see the physician virtually by obtaining their histories, vital signs, and perform a medication reconciliation.
- Perform administrative tasks such as handling inbound patient calls to assist with scheduling appointments.
- Check out patients virtually after the visit.
