About The Position

Florida ENT and Allergy (a division of ENT and Allergy Associates) is seeking an energetic and positive individual to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who wants to be part of a team where every voice matters and the goal is to positively affect patients and teammates. The practice provides comprehensive general and subspecialty ENT medical and surgical care. Patient care is a top concern, and the team provides both diagnosis and rehabilitative services, ensuring patients can depend on them for all their needs. This is an excellent opportunity for an LPN, RN, or Certified Medical Assistant to work as an Allergy Technician. The ideal candidate is multitask-oriented, motivated, able to handle a high volume of patients, a self-starter, and willing to learn all aspects of the Allergy, ENT, and Audiology fields.

Requirements

• Active LPN, RN or Certified Medical Assistant
• Minimum two-years hands-on clinical experience
• Willing to travel between locations as needed
• Working knowledge of medical terminology
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a clear speaking voice
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Exhibit professionalism towards patients physicians and team members
• Computer literate for EMR

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual Spanish speaking is a plus
• Allergy experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Interacting with patients for 20-60 minutes
• Following allergy protocols
• Educating patients on allergy testing and treatments
• Answering patient calls
• Taking patient histories
• Giving injections
• Performing allergy skin tests
• Obtaining authorizations
• Preparing exam rooms
• Sterilization techniques in accordance with CDC, ENTAAF and if applicable Autoclave manufacturer requirements
