About The Position

The job involves installing, supporting, maintaining, configuring, diagnosing, repairing, upgrading, and optimizing all telephone systems and services, voicemail and PBX communication systems, video conferencing, cellular services, and RF radio environments. This includes analyzing and resolving telecommunications issues in a timely and accurate fashion and assisting user needs. The role also involves researching and evaluating emerging telecommunications technologies, and recommending solutions for purchase and organizational implementation. The technician is responsible for the strict adherence of the Information Technology department’s compliance policies, internal control procedures, Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario control specifications, and Casino workplace policy and procedures. Additionally, the technician is responsible for all telecommunications related tasks, ensuring guests are provided with the highest level of service, and making decisions pertaining to the betterment of the guest’s experience. A thorough knowledge of all activities and promotions occurring at the casino properties is expected. The role requires working independently and in a team environment, with flexibility to support a 24/7 operation.

Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM)
  • Experience working with an Avaya Telecommunication System
  • Experience working with MDM solutions (WorkspaceOne, InTune)
  • Working knowledge of mobile phone provisioning and support
  • Experience working with Digital Trunking Two Way Radios
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT environment
  • University/College degree computer science, related certificate or equivalent work-related experience
  • Excellent multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Benefits

  • Target Salary Range $52,560 to $65,700 per annum
