About The Position

CKC Data Solutions is searching for an experienced full-time Telecommunications Cabling Technician in Springfield, MO. As a Telecommunications Cabling Technician, you will install, terminate, label, and test copper and fiber optic cabling systems, ensuring every project meets the highest industry standards and CKC's own expectations. You will interpret blueprints and schematics, and be responsible for documenting your work, recording test results, and maintaining as-built drawings. Troubleshooting and resolving connectivity issues will be part of your routine, as will traveling to job sites across the region or even the country. You will take pride in keeping your work environment clean, organized, and safe, and you will always represent CKC Data Solutions with professionalism. Whether you are on a ladder in a data center or reviewing project specifications, your day will be fast-paced, hands-on, and rewarding. Requirements

  • Experience in telecommunications cabling installation
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Strong understanding of structured cabling systems and installation practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivation, strong work ethic, and commitment to completing projects
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and follow CKC processes and standards
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders, lifts, and in varied environments
  • Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends as project demands require

Nice To Haves

  • FOA (Fiber Optic Association) certification
  • BICSI certification (Installer or Technician)
