Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Three years of experience in Telecom DC power equipment installation
  • Two years of experience in pulling & sewing cable, construction of cable racking, bay mounting
  • Valid driver's license
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Outlook / Excel / Word
  • Ability and willingness to travel 100% of the time
  • Ability and willingness to work varying shifts (swing shifts)
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

  • Proficient in using computer-based management and administrative tools, including Microsoft Office, Salesforce (SFDC), and Workfront.

Responsibilities

  • Lead small to medium sized service projects.
  • Ensure on-time completion and quality of the installation project.
  • Responsible for inventory and staging of equipment and materials.
  • Provide weekly status reports to supervisor.
  • Read and interpret specifications and drawings.
  • Assist Level IV Technician on lead verification (voltage).
  • Add or remove DC power systems, batteries, and add or remove common systems equipment hardware.
  • Support installation and commissioning of wireless, datacenter, and electric vehicle (EV) charging equipment.
  • Comply with all EHS and regulatory guidelines.
  • Work on the addition or removal of wiring and connections on working and non-working DC power equipment.
  • Responsible for weekly tool inventory.
  • Write and submit the MOP (Method of Procedure) and JIM (Job Information Memorandum).
  • Responsible for timesheet for self and crew.
  • Ensure safety adherence and jobsite house cleaning.
