Requirements

Clean personal truck or van capable of handling a 28-foot ladder; a ladder rack will be provided if the candidate does not have one.
Valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, and auto insurance; DMV records will be pulled.
Good time-management skills.
Pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check.
Be physically able to perform job functions.
Be organized and well-groomed.
Basic computer skills.
Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Communicate effectively by email, phone, and other means, and respond quickly and accurately to supervisors, management, and other staff.
Adaptability and ability to work both in a team environment and independently.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, organize and prioritize, make decisions, and work efficiently and effectively under deadlines.
Ability to work comfortably indoors and outdoors.
Ability to use various hand tools.
Must not be afraid of heights.
Willingness to work varying shifts and hours, including possible mandatory overtime, six days per week, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Complete scheduled installations, disconnects, and other activities related to operating and maintaining cable, broadband, and telephony systems on time.
Work aloft and in confined spaces, including climbing ladders and poles and entering attics, telecommunications rooms, buildings, and crawl spaces.
Troubleshoot and repair minor technical problems.
Complete work orders, forms, and reports accurately, working independently and with a team.
Maintain and manage stock issued for job tasks.
Recognize and comply with company and OSHA safety policies and regulations.
Adjust workload flexibly to meet changing demands.
Maintain a positive, professional attitude and presentable appearance, and relate well with the public.
Use communication devices as needed to complete work orders.
Perform daily data entry for work performed.
Provide quality-conscious work and take pride in completed work.
