About The Position

As Aotearoa's leading medical alarm provider, our St John Medical Alarm team are passionate about helping seniors, people with disabilities, and other vulnerable members of our community stay independent for longer. Our monitored alarm systems provide peace of mind, ensuring that help is just the push of a button away. As a Telecare Field Representative, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our customers by building positive, trusting relationships, demonstrating and installing monitored alarm systems, providing top-notch customer care including servicing and troubleshooting alarm equipment, promoting services at community events and group demonstrations, and responding promptly to emergency alerts and coordinating appropriate assistance. This role covers a large geographic area, so you will need to be comfortable spending significant time on the road. You will also participate in an on-call roster every eight weekends, with allowances provided.

Requirements

• Experience in a customer-facing role.
• Strong empathy and personal resilience.
• Good technical and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to change.
• Excellent time management and organisation skills.
• A full New Zealand driver licence with strong driving confidence.

Responsibilities

• Building positive, trusting relationships with those who rely on our medical alarms.
• Demonstrating and installing our monitored alarm systems, ensuring customers feel confident using them.
