Teen & Theater Arts Coordinator
About The Position
Teens need a place where someone pays attention to what excites them and helps them run with it. The Teen & Theater Arts Coordinator will help shape an after-school program where teens can connect, try new things, build confidence, and feel like they belong. This role involves getting to know the teens and using their interests to create engaging activities, including theater, games, leadership opportunities, and creative projects. While theater is an important component, the primary role is to lead a strong teen program and be a consistent, positive adult presence. The ideal candidate brings creativity, initiative, and a willingness to jump in.
Requirements
- Experience in theater, drama, or performing arts is required.
- Must be 23+ to work with high school members.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with teens is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Shape an after-school program where teens can connect, try new things, build confidence, and feel like they belong.
- Get to know the teens in the program and use their interests to create activities that keep them engaged.
- Lead acting, improv, performances, and other opportunities for creative expression through theater.
