About The Position

Join Manulife’s Technology Transformation team to redefine how learning and development are enabled across global technology teams. The Technology Transformation and Change Manager is crucial for the success of the Manulife University (MU) program, bridging strategy and execution by driving change adoption, engagement, and communication for enterprise technology learning and transformation initiatives across North America. Reporting to the program Director, this role partners with the Head of Global Technology Change Management to ensure learning initiatives are effectively planned, communicated, adopted, and continuously improved alongside global counterparts. The position demands strong change enablement capabilities, partner engagement, and a passion for building learning communities that accelerate technology transformation at scale. It is a highly collaborative role, working across regions with learning champions and technology communities to translate transformation goals into measurable learning outcomes and sustained adoption.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Change Management, Organizational Development, Learning & Development, Technology, or related field.
  • 5-10+ years of proven experience supporting enterprise transformation, change enablement, or learning adoption initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across cross-functional partner groups and regions.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and partner management skills.
  • Experience using engagement metrics and analytics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Designs and delivers change strategies that drive measurable learning adoption and behavioral change.
  • Builds trust and influence across MU leadership, learning ambassadors, and segment partners.
  • Manages complex calendars, learning programs, and engagement initiatives with attention to detail.
  • Connects global technology strategy to learning plans and execution.
  • Uses participation and engagement insights to optimize learning impact.
  • Works effectively across geographies, functions, and communities of practice.
  • Thrives in ambiguity and proactively mitigates risks to learning outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement end-to-end communication and change strategies for MU learning initiatives.
  • Ensure timely, clear, and effective dissemination of information to key collaborators across segments.
  • Partner with MU teams in North America and Asia to align messaging, change plans, and engagement strategies with broader global technology objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with segment Learning Ambassadors
  • Design and implement engagement strategies that foster ambassador participation, advocacy, and ownership of learning initiatives.
  • Provide ongoing updates, recognition, and support to ensure ambassadors remain informed, motivated, and aligned how MU meets their priorities.
  • Partner with Learning Ambassadors and segment leaders to improve reach, participation, and learning effectiveness.
  • Monitor and report on adoption, participation, and engagement metrics for MU and broader Technology Transformation initiatives.
  • Lead requirements towards the development and evolution of a persona-based Learner Dashboard supporting key stakeholder needs.
  • Continuously assess learning gaps and capability needs across North American segments, using insights from Learning Ambassadors, the ITCF core team and dashboards and critical metrics.
  • Collaborate with the MU Director to cocreate targeted learning plans addressing identified gaps and priorities.
  • Proactively identify risks to adoption or learning effectiveness and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Partner with the Director to manage the learning calendar, ensuring alignment with strategic technology priorities.
  • Promote upcoming events across relevant communication channels to improve awareness and participation.
  • Coordinate logistics and communications for events and community sessions.
  • Support the organization and facilitation of the learning agendas.
  • Promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, and peer learning among ambassadors and participants.
  • Track engagement and feedback to continuously improve MU related CoP initiatives and outcomes.
