The Technology Transfer (T2) Project Manager supports Doolittle Institute’s technology transfer and transition efforts by engaging industry, academia, government, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for collaboration, commercialization, and technology transition. The role supports outreach initiatives, events, workshops, research, and opportunity development, and helps connect external partners with AFRL technologies, capabilities, and R&D needs. The position builds relationships with industry, small businesses, academia, and government; represents Doolittle Institute at conferences and industry forums; and supports T2, transition, and STEM outreach activities. The Project Manager supports the promotion and commercialization of AFRL technologies and independently manages assigned projects from initiation through completion while adapting to changing priorities. The role requires a bachelor’s or higher degree in a STEM or business field, though an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Candidates need three to five years of experience with technology transfer and/or commercialization programs, experience in business development or targeted market research and outreach, and strong communication and project-management capabilities. Candidates must be able to pass a background check and successfully obtain and maintain either a security clearance or an ITAR license.
