About The Position

Be the Technology Backbone of Our Transportation Team! Do you love problem-solving, keeping systems running smoothly, and helping people succeed through technology? As a Technology Systems Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the Transportation Department by managing and improving the technology systems that keep our operations moving.

Requirements

Understand computer hardware, software, and networking fundamentals.
Comfortable with TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, VPNs, and Active Directory.
Experience with Windows Server/Desktop OS, VoIP, and virtualized environments.
Organized and proactive self-starter with strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively while managing own responsibilities.
Ability to interact clearly and courteously with staff, contractors, and participants.
Associate degree in Computer Science with two (2) years of related IT experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

A+ Certification and other relevant industry certifications.

Responsibilities

Support technology projects from research and planning through implementation and deployment.
Maintain, repair, and upgrade computers, software, hardware, and operating systems for local and remote users.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, VPN, and VoIP issues, and deliver clear, effective technology training.
Purchase, inventory, and track equipment while documenting support and repair history.
Perform routine system checks and updates and serve as a key liaison between staff and management on technology needs.
