About The Position

Under the direction of the assigned supervisor, perform setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, technical support, and repair on user-based systems on local area networks including some server support. Perform diagnostics on networked microcomputer hardware and specialized operating systems including, but not limited to, desktop platforms, mobile platforms, and cloud-based platforms. Perform basic technical support and help functions that relate to servers and networks.

Requirements

  • Two years of college level coursework in microcomputer hardware and software components, microcomputer operating systems and data communications software.
  • One year of college level coursework in microcomputer hardware and software components, microcomputer operating systems and data communications software, and two years of additional job training or experience in a related field.
  • Additional experience may substitute for higher education.
  • A+ Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Network + certification preferred.
