About The Position

John’s Service & Sales is seeking a reliable and tech-savvy Technology Support Specialist to support our field supervisors, estimators, and project managers. This role is responsible for providing day-to-day technical assistance, maintaining data accuracy, and ensuring our team can efficiently utilize company software and systems.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with Adobe (PDF editing, markup, document management)
  • Strong computer and troubleshooting skills
  • High attention to detail with strong data entry accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Strong communication skills and ability to support both office and field personnel
  • Self-motivated with a problem-solving mindset

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Construction or Mechanical Contracting environments
  • Familiar with software such as Blue beam, Spectrum, Procore, Build ops
  • Experience supporting Project Managers or Operations teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on technical support to field supervisors, estimators, and project managers
  • Assist with data entry, document management, and system updates across multiple platforms
  • Support and troubleshoot issues within company software, including job tracking and project management tools
  • Maintain and organize digital files, drawings, and project documentation
  • Assist with uploading, editing, and managing plans and submittals
  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of project data, job costing, and reporting information
  • Train and assist team members on proper use of software and technology tools
  • Coordinate with internal teams to improve workflows and efficiency through technology
  • Help maintain company hardware, software updates, and user access
