About The Position

As a Technology Support Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless technological operations. You'll be at the forefront of providing exceptional support and solutions to our users, enhancing their experience and driving our technological success.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a technical support role.
  • Proficiency with Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts.
  • Experience with hardware troubleshooting and repair.
  • Familiarity with remote support tools and software.
  • Basic knowledge of IT security principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Customer-service oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality support.
  • Experience with help desk ticketing systems.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Respond to support requests via phone, email, or in-person, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
  • Assist in setting up and managing user accounts and access permissions.
  • Document support activities, issues, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Conduct regular system checks and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Train and guide users on best practices for utilizing technology tools and resources.
  • Monitor and manage inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.
  • Participate in the deployment and update of security measures and protocols.
  • Support the implementation of new technology projects and initiatives.
  • Provide on-site and remote support during system upgrades and migrations.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures regarding technology use and support.
