About The Position

Executech is seeking a Technology Specialist to join their new Family Technology Offering (FTO) service line. This role will provide enterprise-grade IT support and cybersecurity to high-net-worth family members, acting as a dedicated, white-glove single point of contact. The specialist will manage Microsoft 365 accounts, deploy and support password management tools, handle security incidents, and provide proactive technology guidance in a residential context. This position requires building trusted relationships, explaining technical concepts to non-technical users, and maintaining discretion and professionalism while working with high-net-worth individuals.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of IT support or systems administration experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, including user provisioning, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and license management.
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) for identity management and access control.
  • Familiarity with password management platforms (1Password, Keeper, LastPass, or similar).
  • Basic understanding of endpoint security concepts and credential compromise remediation.
  • Ability to learn new tools quickly.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation with a professional, patient, and approachable demeanor.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Comfort working with high-net-worth individuals and family office environments; discretion and professionalism are essential.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-reliant and self-directed; able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with family members across generations.
  • Calm under pressure.
  • Regular, reliable availability during business hours with flexibility for occasional urgent support.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting residential or family office IT environments.
  • 1Password administration experience (deployment, vault management, Watchtower monitoring).
  • Microsoft 365 certifications (MS-102, AZ-104, SC-900) or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with Apple device management (Jamf, Apple Business Manager).
  • Experience with Sophos endpoint protection or similar enterprise security platforms.
  • Experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or multi-client environment.
  • Background in wealth management, family office, or high-net-worth client services.

Responsibilities

  • Provision and manage Microsoft 365 accounts, including email, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams access.
  • Administer a dedicated family Microsoft 365 tenant.
  • Configure and maintain B2B cross-tenant access for secure access to corporate resources.
  • Deploy and support 1Password for all family members, including training on hygiene and vault organization.
  • Manage Microsoft Copilot licensing and support.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for identity compromise events and execute remediation steps.
  • Coordinate with the client's IT liaison on access revocation and escalation.
  • Maintain incident logging and escalation protocols for security events.
  • Support dark web monitoring alerts and guide family members through remediation.
  • Deploy and support Sophos MDR endpoint protection on family devices (Phase 2).
  • Administer Jamf MDM for Apple devices, including zero-touch provisioning and lost/stolen device management (Phase 2).
  • Provide high-touch, white-glove support via phone, email, and video calls.
  • Set clear expectations with family members about the scope of support.
  • Communicate proactively with family members, anticipating needs.
  • Train family members on M365 tools, Copilot, and security best practices.
  • Build trusted relationships with family members across multiple generations.
  • Redirect out-of-scope requests professionally.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of the family tenant environment, configurations, and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain troubleshooting runbooks, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base articles.
  • Track support interactions, incidents, and resolutions.
  • Coordinate with Executech PSM on onboarding and offboarding new family members.
  • Promptly and accurately log time and activities for client billing and internal tracking.
