About The Position

The Technology Specialist I role is responsible for the full lifecycle of end-user computing devices at our TIW warehouse facility. This includes preparing and deploying new devices for onboarding, collecting and processing devices at offboarding, and maintaining accurate hardware inventory. You will work with Microsoft Intune and Autopilot, Windows, macOS, and iPad devices, and Dell and Apple peripherals, so team members get working equipment quickly and company assets are tracked from receipt to retirement.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma in General Studies (Required)
  • 2+ years of Technical Support or equivalent support environment (Required)
  • Experience in a warehouse, depot, or IT staging environment
  • Ability to lift and move up to [40–50] lbs
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Mac, and iOS Operating Systems
  • Proficient knowledge of PC Hardware repair
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 administration
  • Proficient knowledge of Dell laptop and desktop repair
  • Ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written to a wide range of end-user skill levels
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

  • 2+ years of Previous experience working in the IT field (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Device provisioning and management: Enroll, configure, and deploy Windows devices using Microsoft Intune and Autopilot. Set up and image Windows and MacOS laptops and desktops to company standards. Configure and deploy iPads, including MDM enrollment and app assignment. Install and validate required software and applications on all device types. Troubleshoot enrollment, imaging, and configuration issues.
  • Onboarding and offboarding: Prepare and stage devices and peripherals for new hires. Retrieve, wipe, and reset returned devices; remove them from Intune and other management systems. Verify that returned equipment is complete and in working condition. Coordinate with HR, IT, and department managers on timelines and equipment needs.
  • Warehousing and hardware management: Receive, inspect, and store incoming hardware, including Dell and Apple laptops, desktops, iPads, and peripherals. Maintain an organized, secure hardware storage area. Manage stock of peripherals such as monitors, docks, keyboards, mice, headsets, and chargers. Identify low stock and help with reorder planning.
  • Shipping and logistics: Pack, label, and ship devices to remote employees and other locations. Process inbound returns and track shipments to completion. Work with carriers and follow secure shipping practices for high-value equipment.
  • Asset inventory and documentation: Maintain accurate records in the asset management system, covering assignment, status, location, and disposition. Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies. Document device lifecycle activity, including deployment, reassignment, repair, and retirement. Support secure data wiping and certified disposal or recycling of end-of-life equipment.
