Requirements

• Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university, in GIS, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• One year of experience in GIS or related field.
• Must have a GIS Certification.
• Must possess/maintain valid Missouri Driver's License.
• Must submit to/pass pre-employment background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for reading, deciphering, and verifying legal descriptions on recorded deeds and determining the next steps, either name changes or segregations, for entering deed into tax software.
• Assists internal and external customers on conveyance related inquiries.
• Creating, updating, and maintaining all GIS data.
• Performing GIS analysis as requested.
• Creating cartographic products.
• Working as part of the GIS team to ensure exceptional customer service for both County Departments and the taxpayers.
• Working with other GIS stakeholders to coordinate and implement complementary initiatives.
• Performing other duties as assigned, including special projects.
