Technology Sales Representative - Power Systems
About The Position
This role serves as the customer-facing subject matter expert on technology, working alongside Machine Sales and Product Support. The primary focus is on promoting and implementing various technology products and services, including Product Link, Condition Monitoring, Vision Link, and emerging technologies. The representative will also be responsible for training on Vision Link Unified Suites, keeping internal teams informed about new technologies, recommending Product Link devices, assisting customers with telematics solutions and Cat Inspect implementation, supporting Trimble on highway telematics, introducing my.cat.com, and aiding Product Support in understanding available technology solutions.
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of experience in Sales with an emphasis in Product Support required.
- Superior office system computer skills required to include: Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc…
- Must be able to comprehend, speak and write the English language.
- Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
- High School Diploma or related equivalent required.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree from a four year college or university or related equivalent experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Be the customer facing subject matter expert on Technology working with Machine Sales and Product Support promoting Product link, Condition Monitoring, Vision Link and emerging technology products and services.
- Provide Vision Link Unified Suites training both internal and external.
- Keep Machine Sales and Product Support informed on emerging technology.
- Promote Condition Monitoring services and associated technology.
- Provide customers with mixed fleet telematics solutions.
- Recommend Product Link devices and applications.
- Assist Customers with introduction and implementation of Cat Inspect.
- Support Trimble on highway telematics system.
- Introduce and promote my.cat.com.
- Assist PSD in navigating and understanding what technology is available.
