About The Position

NerdsToGo Plano, now part of ATI, is expanding its operations and seeking a high-energy Technology Sales Associate. This role is designed for individuals with a background in tech retail who are looking to transition into a professional B2B sales career. The position focuses on identifying IT needs for local businesses and consulting on solutions that enhance their security and efficiency. It is a "Hunter" role for those who understand technology's importance to business success and are driven to achieve high income through IT services sales.

Requirements

  • A "Hunter" mentality, driven by targets and motivated by winning, comfortable initiating conversations with new businesses.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical terms into clear, value-driven business language and demonstrate ROI.
  • Strong understanding of Windows/Mac ecosystems, basic networking, and cloud environments (Microsoft 365/Google Workspace).
  • Professional ambition to transition from consumer sales to high-stakes B2B consulting where income is performance-based.
  • Experience in tech retail (e.g., Apple, Best Buy, Verizon) is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Actively hunt for new business opportunities within the local business community to drive growth and new revenue.
  • Audit client environments and collaborate with the engineering team to present custom IT roadmaps, focusing on selling uptime and security.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery meetings, proposal presentations, and closing service contracts.
  • Ensure a premium client onboarding experience and maintain relationships for long-term success.
  • Represent the NerdsToGo and ATI brands at networking events and business associations to build a robust sales pipeline.
