About The Position

Position is responsible for the planning and successful delivery of multiple moderately technology projects while leading matrixed project team members that are each responsible for elements therein. This includes building technology project governance structures and delivery plans to enable fulfillment of articulated business goals. Role is instrumental in driving and tracking project activities, schedule, scope, and budget, as well as negotiating changes in plans and effective communication with all stakeholders. Success of technology project outcomes will be measured by the degree with which the initiative was delivered within time line expectations, budget and scope.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of banking or financial industry experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience managing moderately complex technical projects
  • Must be able to create complex MS Project plans, MS PowerPoint decks and Excel workbooks
  • Must be extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of project methodology, project management tools and techniques across all project activities
  • Good presentation skills

Nice To Haves

  • PMP certification preferred
  • Agile Scrum Master Certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manages multiple moderately complex projects from start to implementation with limited supervision
  • Drives and manages project activities relating to meeting project objectives, budget, scope, quality standards and schedule with limited supervision
  • Develops and manages project budget with limited supervision
  • Consults with all levels of management and typically coordinates activities across multiple units/divisions
  • May conduct formal presentations to management
  • Recognized as a trusted mentor and leader among project coordinators
