Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in IT support, technical coordination, or systems administration.

Responsibilities

  • Build, formalize, and maintain technology governance frameworks and standards.
  • Develop governance documentation, process maps, tools, and recurring review structures (e.g., heatmaps, lifecycle calendars).
  • Monitor compliance with governance requirements across divisions and sites.
  • Create and maintain metrics, dashboards, and reports that track governance effectiveness, asset health, lifecycle progress, and organizational readiness.
  • Co-ordinate and track roll-outs of technology, processes and procedures.
  • Lead the full lifecycle of hardware assets, including computers, POS systems, Moneris terminals, network switches, and other physical IT equipment.
  • Participate in defining and refining the routine cadence of lifecycle checks and site visits.
  • Maintain a centralized, accurate asset inventory and ensure proper asset assignment and tracking across all locations.
  • Recommend changes to optimize the quantity or type of hardware being utilized.
  • Develop and maintain PCI documentation, forms, templates, checklists and training materials.
  • Support PCI audits by identifying gaps and ensuring that technology practices meet compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate secure access provisioning and deprovisioning as part of the broader governance program.
  • Assist in ensuring that technology procedures align with organizational security requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Serve as a primary liaison between divisions, the technology team, and external partners such as FCL service desk teams.
  • Collaborate with external vendors (e.g., Moneris, hardware suppliers, managed service providers) for information, support, or program alignment.
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes related to technology (access, credentials, documentation, equipment coordination).
  • Triage general technology questions or issues using help desk experience, escalating appropriately.
  • Coordinate and deliver training related to governance programs, PCI requirements, or lifecycle processes.
  • Provide on-site support to outlying locations with a travel cadence similar to existing technical staff.
  • Maintain clear communication and documentation to support consistent experiences across all locations.
