About The Position

Stifel’s Technology Product Development department transforms digital technology for advisors to strengthen client bonds. The Technology Product Developer Intern assists the Development team with multiple products and systems across development phases, including design, implementation, integration, revision control, release, and maintenance. The intern completes short-cycle development tasks, develops an understanding of unit testing and continuous integration, follows Stifel’s coding and core development concepts, documents code clearly, and learns from and participates with experienced developers on complex tasks.

Requirements

Ability to collaborate with a team using knowledge of appropriate development environments.
Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, including the ability to resolve problems.
Awareness of how actions affect a product or feature, and the ability to act accordingly.
Experience with C#/.NET, or relevant Java/C++ or equivalent relational database systems.
Experience with JavaScript libraries or frameworks such as Angular or jQuery.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

Pursuing a degree in computer science and/or software development, with at least one year of college completed preferred.

Responsibilities
