About The Position

The Corporate Technology Leadership Development Program is designed to accelerate the professional development of high-caliber Ph.D. graduates by placing them in multiple Avient R&D Teams. This two-year program includes two (2) twelve-month rotational assignments, offering hands-on experience in technology and leadership philosophy, along with technical, functional, and leadership skills training. These teams work on a variety of projects that support critical Avient business processes. Rotational assignments will differ based on the candidate's skills and may involve foundational R&D, analytical, and applied product or process development across Avient’s technology platforms. During each rotation, participants will build relationships with peers and leaders, learn fundamental concepts, and receive feedback from the program manager. Upon program completion, individuals will be placed in a full-time role at Avient that aligns with their personal and professional goals and meets business needs. Rotations for this role will take place in at least two of Avient's R&D Labs, located near Cleveland, OH; Chicago, IL; Denver, CO; Atlanta, GA; Greenville, NC; Philadelphia, PA; and Birmingham, AL.
