About The Position
The Technology Development Manager Site Operations represents the department and serves as the liaison between Systems Development, Process Improvement, and business end-users from all functional areas. This role determines operational objectives within the department, reviews, analyzes, and proposes modifications to business systems to support departmental business needs. The manager communicates departmental business technology priorities to Systems Development and Process Improvement, manages internal department business technology projects, and writes and maintains user documentation while providing training to end-users. Additionally, they provide support and communicate potential business impact to end-users from all functional areas, acting as an escalation point and subject matter expert for departmental business technology systems. The role also participates in department initiatives related to new and existing business applications.
Requirements
- College or University Degree, ideally in the life science or health care field
- At least 3-year experience in clinical research
- At least 2-year experience in Clinical or Site Operations
- Proficiency in standard MS Office applications
- Understanding of technology and IT systems
