About The Position

This is a hands-on technical opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with customers, deploying technology in the field, solving complex technical challenges, and supporting mission-critical public safety operations. You'll serve as a trusted technical resource throughout the customer lifecycle, helping law enforcement, first responder, and public safety agencies successfully implement and support integrated technology solutions. This role combines networking, systems implementation, customer training, troubleshooting, and field deployments with significant customer interaction.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in technology deployment, systems implementation, networking, technical support, or field engineering
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, routers, switches, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, wireless networking, and troubleshooting
  • Comfortable working directly with customers in both technical and non-technical environments
  • Able to obtain required background clearances and security credentials

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with mobile technologies, surveillance systems, cameras, video platforms, or vehicle-mounted technology is highly valued
  • Public safety, government, law enforcement, military, or mission-critical technology experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with LTE communications, ONVIF, video management systems, or 12V vehicle systems is beneficial

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, configure, and support public safety technology solutions
  • Conduct onsite installations, upgrades, commissioning, and troubleshooting
  • Provide technical demonstrations, customer consultations, and pre-sales support
  • Configure and support routers, switches, VPNs, wireless networks, and LTE devices
  • Serve as the primary technical contact during deployments and escalations
  • Deliver customer training and technical documentation
  • Partner with sales, project management, engineering, and support teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Travel extensively to customer sites for deployments, support, and training
