About The Position

The Technology Delivery Lead is a senior individual contributor accountable for the end-to-end delivery of highly complex credit card business capabilities and technology initiatives spanning multiple application teams, platforms, vendors, and delivery organizations. This role serves as the overall delivery integrator for large-scale credit card features and platform enhancements, ensuring successful planning, mobilization, execution, testing, deployment, and post-production stabilization. The successful candidate combines deep credit card domain knowledge, technology delivery expertise, stakeholder leadership, and execution rigor to drive outcomes in complex, highly regulated financial services environments.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of technology delivery experience within the credit card or payments industry.
  • Proven experience delivering complex credit card business capabilities from concept through production implementation.
  • Strong understanding of credit card issuing business processes and technology ecosystems.
  • Experience leading technology delivery across multiple card applications, vendors, and business functions.
  • Experience managing large-scale feature implementations with significant integration complexity.
  • Deep credit card issuing domain knowledge
  • Proven delivery leadership in high-complexity card environments
  • Ability to orchestrate execution across 10+ dependent teams without direct authority

Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery of high-complexity credit card features spanning multiple applications, technologies, vendors, and business functions.
  • Drive delivery of issuer platform capabilities across the card lifecycle, including acquisition, servicing, authorization, loyalty, rewards, payments, collections, fraud, risk, and customer servicing.
  • Coordinate business and technology readiness across product, operations, compliance, risk, fraud, marketing, finance, contact center, and technology teams.
  • Manage multiple technology and business dependencies associated with large-scale feature delivery.
  • Lead complex implementation activities involving processor integrations, card platform enhancements, conversion initiatives, and regulatory changes.
  • Ensure seamless integration across card platforms, digital channels, loyalty systems, customer servicing platforms, data ecosystems, and downstream applications.
  • Translate business objectives into executable delivery strategies.
  • Own delivery accountability for initiatives with significant complexity, interdependencies, and enterprise impact.
  • Coordinate execution across Agile Release Trains (ARTs), Projects, Product Teams, and Shared Services.
  • Drive delivery governance, risk management, issue resolution, and escalation management.
  • Ensure successful movement through SDLC and change management processes.
  • Oversee production deployment readiness and implementation planning.
  • Act as the primary integration point across application, infrastructure, data, cloud, vendor, and operational teams.
  • Facilitate technical solution alignment and resolve cross-team design and delivery conflicts.
  • Ensure solution scalability, resiliency, security, and operational readiness requirements are incorporated into delivery plans.
  • Coordinate complex dependency management across internal and external partners.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior technology and business stakeholders.
  • Provide executive-level communication regarding delivery progress, risks, decisions, and remediation plans.
  • Drive decision-making across competing priorities and stakeholder interests.
  • Influence delivery outcomes without direct authority.
  • Proactively identify delivery, operational, regulatory, and implementation risks.
  • Lead mitigation planning and execution.

  • Coordinate environment readiness, release sequencing, deployment rehearsals, cutover activities, and implementation governance.
