About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Technology Business Systems Consultant. In this role, you will: Evaluate moderately complex business problems and provide technical assistance in identifying automated systems and related procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements. Review and evaluate moderately complex technical business problems that can be resolved through internet or intranet based solutions. Present recommendations for resolving business problems. Exercise some independent judgment when developing project budgets, project plans, and schedules. Provide information about communication between business and technology teams. Work with business user groups to provide training, handle questions, observe user needs, and document results. Lead or support operational functions across multiple business groups and contribute to strategic initiatives. Ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effective delivery of operational processes and solutions. Analyze business, operational, and strategic needs, and provide recommendations to improve performance. Work independently while providing leadership and support to the team. Assist in executing programs and initiatives focused on risk mitigation, efficiency, and customer experience. Collaborate with partners to develop and implement processes, controls, and operational procedures. Manage relationships and support the execution of cross-functional programs and initiatives.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Business Systems Data experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • Strong knowledge of wire transfer processes and payment operations
  • Experience supporting and troubleshooting Operations applications within a production environment
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills

  • Experience in incident management with strong problem-solving and data analysis capabilities
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to monitor operations, identify gaps, and drive solution design
  • Experience in crisis and incident management, including development and execution of operational workarounds
  • Background in Operations, data analysis, continuous improvement, client experience, and risk and control frameworks
