About The Position

Konica Minolta is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Technology Business Management (TBM) Specialist to support the financial management and operational effectiveness of the Information Technology organization. This role enables data-driven decision making by delivering financial transparency across technology investments, budgets, forecasts, vendor relationships, and cost optimization initiatives. The TBM Specialist will help drive data-informed decision making by analyzing technology spend, supporting financial planning activities, maintaining reporting and dashboards, and partnering with IT leaders to ensure responsible management of technology resources.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience with SAP, ERP platforms, budgeting systems, or financial reporting tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or Computer Science
  • 2+ years of relevant internship, co-op, or professional experience in finance, accounting, analytics, or information technology.

Responsibilities

  • Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly financial planning activities across the IT organization.
  • Analyze IT operating and capital expenditures, identifying trends, variances, risks, and opportunities.
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports, dashboards, scorecards, and executive presentations.
  • Partner with IT leaders, project managers, and finance teams to monitor spending against approved budgets.
  • Assist with technology portfolio, vendor, software, cloud, infrastructure, and project cost analysis.
  • Perform monthly financial reconciliations and support period-end and year-end close activities.
  • Maintain accurate financial and operational data within ERP, budgeting, and reporting systems.
  • Support business cases, investment analyses, and technology cost optimization initiatives.
  • Develop subject matter expertise in TBM principles, IT financial management, and technology performance metrics.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
