About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Technology Architect (Level 3) to be included in our bid for a Department of National Defence (DND) requirement. This is a proposal-based opportunity, and candidates must clearly demonstrate their experience against the specified criteria. Only candidates who provide complete and detailed project information will be considered. The role requires eligibility for Government of Canada security clearance and will be located in the NCR with a hybrid work model, subject to client requirements. This opportunity is tied to a competitive RFP submission, and only candidates meeting all mandatory requirements will be considered.

Requirements

• Minimum ten (10) years of experience performing the duties of a Technology Architect (equivalent to TBIPS Stream 3, Level 3).
• Minimum five (5) years of experience within the last twenty (20) years providing technology architect services within the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), National Defence (DND), Allied Military Forces or Allied Department of Defence (NATO countries), Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), Canadian Coast Guard (CCG), Canadian Security Intelligence Services (CSIS), Correctional Service of Canada (CSC), or Canadian Security Establishment (CSE).
• Minimum three (3) projects where you provided services as a Technology Architect within the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), National Defence (DND), Allied Military Forces or Allied Department of Defence (NATO countries), Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), Canadian Coast Guard (CCG), Canadian Security Intelligence Services (CSIS), Correctional Service of Canada (CSC), or Canadian Security Establishment (CSE).
• Minimum five (5) years of experience within the last ten (10) years building, creating, or managing sites across various versions of SharePoint / SharePoint Online within the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), National Defence (DND), Allied Military Forces or Allied Department of Defence (NATO countries), Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), Canadian Coast Guard (CCG), Canadian Security Intelligence Services (CSIS), Correctional Service of Canada (CSC), or Canadian Security Establishment (CSE).
• Minimum two (2) years of experience developing enterprise solutions using SAP (including SAP BOBI) and Power BI (Power BI Premium) within the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), National Defence (DND), Allied Military Forces or Allied Department of Defence (NATO countries), Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), Canadian Coast Guard (CCG), Canadian Security Intelligence Services (CSIS), Correctional Service of Canada (CSC), or Canadian Security Establishment (CSE).
• Solutions must support high-volume environments (100K+ users and 500K+ page views).
• Demonstrated experience providing technology architect services within the last twenty (20) years within the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), National Defence (DND), Allied Military Forces or Allied Department of Defence (NATO countries), or Canadian federal departments/agencies.
• Demonstrated experience serving as a Technology Architect across multiple projects within the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), National Defence (DND), Allied Military Forces or Allied Department of Defence (NATO countries), or Canadian federal departments/agencies.
• Demonstrated experience developing enterprise solutions that have used SharePoint and SAP BOBI as a data repository within the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), National Defence (DND), Allied Military Forces or Allied Department of Defence (NATO countries), or Canadian federal departments/agencies.
• Demonstrated experience developing enterprise solutions that have used SAP and Power BI (Power BI Premium) supporting 100K users and 500K+ page views within the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), National Defence (DND), Allied Military Forces or Allied Department of Defence (NATO countries), or Canadian federal departments/agencies.
• Must be eligible for Government of Canada security clearance.
• Candidates must provide detailed project information for each referenced experience, including: Project Name, Client Department, Client Reference (Name, Email, Phone Number), Start Date and End Date, Project Description, Tasks Performed, Engagement Details.

Nice To Haves

• Preference will be given to candidates demonstrating 10 or more years of experience in Defence / Federal Technology Architect environments.
• Preference will be given to candidates demonstrating experience across more than eight (8) projects.
• Preference will be given to candidates demonstrating 10 or more years of experience with SharePoint and SAP BOBI.
• Preference will be given to candidates demonstrating significant experience beyond the minimum requirement in SAP and Power BI development for high-volume environments.
• The following certifications will be considered strong assets: MS-900 Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, SC-900 Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, AZ-900 Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, PL-900 Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals, AIIM SharePoint Specialist Certification, Certificate of Master Data Management of Taxonomy, MCTS SharePoint, MS SharePoint Master.
• Preference will be given to candidates holding multiple certifications from the list above.
• Preference will be given to candidates demonstrating broad experience in all of the following SharePoint capabilities: List, Libraries, Columns, Content Types, Wikis, Metadata / Tagging, Permissions Controls, Site Collection Migration, Low Code Platform.

Responsibilities

• Developing enterprise solutions using SAP (including SAP BOBI) and Power BI (Power BI Premium).
• Developing enterprise solutions that use SharePoint and SAP BOBI as a data repository.
• Developing enterprise solutions that use SAP and Power BI (Power BI Premium) supporting high-volume environments (100K+ users and 500K+ page views).
• Demonstrating experience with SharePoint capabilities, including Lists, Libraries, Columns, Content Types, Wikis, Metadata / Tagging, Permissions Controls, Site Collection Migration, and Low Code Platform.
