About The Position

The Fiserv Technology Analyst Program is a two-year, early career development experience designed to accelerate your growth in the fintech industry. Through two structured assignments within a specific technology track, analysts gain hands-on experience, build technical and professional skills, and collaborate across teams to solve real business challenges. As a Technology Analyst Program - Data Engineer, you will support the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines and data platforms that enable analytics and operational reporting across Fiserv. You will work with data engineers, analysts, and business partners to help move, transform, and organize data for downstream use. Your work will help improve data reliability, reporting accuracy, and access to information across the firm.

Requirements

  • Recent graduate of a bachelor's degree completed in December 2024 or after in Computer Science, Data Science, Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Technical Project Management, or other Technology Degrees
  • 3.0+ GPA
  • 0-2 years of professional work experience
  • Must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. Individuals with temporary visas including, but not limited to, F-1 (OPT, CPT, STEM), H-1B, H-2, or TN, or any candidate requiring sponsorship, now or in the future, will not be considered for this role.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to Apache Spark, Hadoop, or similar distributed data processing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Dataflow, or similar data platform tools.
  • Exposure to continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices for data engineering workflows.
  • Experience gained through internships, coursework, or structured technical programs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing and building data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
  • Support the development and maintenance of data workflows to enable reliable and efficient data movement.
  • Help monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data pipeline performance, quality, and reliability.
  • Contribute to data modeling and schema design for analytics and operational reporting use cases.
  • Partner with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to support data requirements and downstream data consumption.
  • Perform testing and validation to help ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Document pipeline logic, data flows, and technical processes to support ongoing operations and knowledge sharing.
