About The Position

The AI, Data & Technology Analyst supports the evaluation, research, and practical application of AI, data, and technology capabilities that drive measurable enterprise value. Positioned within Strategic Finance & Operations (SFO), this role works closely with senior leadership to translate emerging AI and technology developments into scalable, practical opportunities across the organization. This is an operator-oriented role focused on execution, judgment, and impact.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in AI, data, technology strategy, analytics, product, finance, operations, or a related business function with responsibility for evaluating and applying technology to business problems
  • Experience researching, assessing, and communicating findings on emerging technologies, tools, platforms, or vendors for business decision-making
  • Experience translating technical tradeoffs, including cost, latency, reliability, and model accuracy, into clear recommendations for stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, data science, computer science, information systems, analytics, or a related field
  • Must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. Individuals with temporary visas including, but not limited to, F-1 (OPT, CPT, STEM), H-1B, H-2, or TN, or any candidate requiring sponsorship, now or in the future, will not be considered for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Research AI models, tools, platforms, and agent frameworks with a focus on real-world applicability, scalability, and economic impact.
  • Support identification and evaluation of high-value AI use cases across finance, operations, technology, product, and risk.
  • Prototype and test AI workflows and agents to assess feasibility and practical value.
  • Conduct technology vendor assessments and technical diligence — evaluating solutions against real business requirements and separating substance from hype.
  • Support broader technology strategy work, including tool evaluations, build-vs-buy assessments, and emerging technology monitoring.
  • Map and maintain an understanding of Fiserv’s data landscape across business units to support AI effectiveness, consolidation planning, and strategic data initiatives.
  • Translate technical concepts and tradeoffs (cost, latency, reliability, accuracy) into clear, practical insights for leadership.
  • Support leadership on strategic priorities outside of AI and technology when required — SFO operates horizontally and every team member contributes across initiatives.
