About The Position

The Technologist Aide supports the Mammography Department by coordinating with mammography technologists and other staff, helping with patient transport and transfers, preparing the scanning room between patients, and providing clerical support. The aide also performs varied tasks to help maintain an efficient and organized department. This is a per-diem position with day, evening, and Saturday morning scheduling. The pay range is $19.94–$22.50 per hour, with starting pay based on experience.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Prior medical imaging experience.

Responsibilities

Support the Mammography Department through interaction and coordination with mammography technologists and other staff.
Assist with safe transport and/or transfer of patients.
Prepare the scanning room between patients by wiping down equipment, changing linen, and attaching the appropriate coil for the next scheduled exam.
Provide clerical support, including responding to telephone calls, verifying patient demographic information and DI screening form information, and obtaining prior testing information such as lab results and previous imaging studies and results as needed.
Assist with and perform diverse tasks required to maintain an efficient and organized department.
