About The Position

Under the direction of the Lead Mammography Technologist, the Mammography Technologist performs procedures in accordance with the guidelines and regulations of the ACR and applicable federal and state regulatory agencies. The role requires mammography knowledge, clear communication, customer service, organization, and the ability to prioritize and solve problems. The technologist must be able to communicate effectively with all age levels served within the scope of the position and perform essential job functions without posing a direct threat to workplace health and safety, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

At least 2–3 years of mammography experience; experience in a lead role is preferred.
Knowledge of all aspects of mammography.
Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
Strong verbal and written English skills.
Ability to prioritize and solve problems.
Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
ARRT(R) and ARRT(M) certifications.
Massachusetts Radiation Control License in Radiologic Technology and Mammography.
Ability to perform essential functions without posing a direct threat to workplace health and safety, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a lead role.
Experience with 3D breast tomosynthesis mammography equipment.
Experience with Meditech and PACS.
Previous experience with Cerner.
