About The Position

Under the direction of the Lead Mammography Technologist, the Mammography Technologist performs mammography procedures in accordance with the guidelines and regulations of the ACR and federal and state regulatory agencies. The position requires effective communication with patients of all age levels served within the scope of the position and assigned areas. The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves or others, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

Minimum 2–3 years of mammography experience; experience in a lead role is preferred.
Knowledge of all aspects of mammography.
Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written English skills.
Ability to prioritize and solve problems as issues arise.
Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
ARRT(R) and ARRT(M) certifications.
Massachusetts Radiation Control License in Radiologic Technology and Mammography.

Nice To Haves

Experience with 3D breast tomosynthesis mammography equipment.
Experience with Meditech and PACS.
Previous experience with Cerner.
