About The Position
The technician will be responsible for supporting the Quality System team in the maintenance and qualification of equipment / systems for the laboratory and the plant. This role involves performing calibrations, monitoring preventive maintenance, cleaning and maintaining equipment, applying company and industry standards, and performing related administrative tasks. The position also contributes to departmental improvements by participating in the implementation of new procedures and optimizing workflows. All related tasks are also part of the responsibilities.
Requirements
- DES completed
- Two (2) years of relevant experience with current laboratory and pharmaceutical production equipment
- Computer experience (Microsoft Office and Internet)
- Ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision
- Ability to organize, plan and prioritize their workload according to the team's objectives and priorities
- Ability to work in a team and easy to interact with colleagues

Responsibilities
- Perform the calibration of certain laboratory and plant equipment according to the procedures in place
- Monitor and participate in preventive maintenance activities for laboratory equipment and systems, according to the maintenance schedule
- Cleaning and maintenance of laboratory and plant equipment and systems
- Apply business and industry instructions, procedures and standards
- Perform administrative tasks related to the calibration, servicing and maintenance of equipment
- Participate in the improvement of the department (implementation of new procedures, way of working, forms, etc.) to target an optimization of tasks
