About The Position

Reporting to the Department Head, the Quality Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supporting quality assurance and control activities to maintain standards, ensure process compliance, and drive continuous improvement in the maintenance and operation of the REM.

Requirements

  • DEC or Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in quality assurance, quality control, or quality management, ideally in an industrial, manufacturing, railway, or public transport environment.
  • Good knowledge of quality management standards, procedures, and systems.
  • Ability to analyze data and performance indicators.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Rigor, attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Autonomy, sense of responsibility, and orientation towards continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and constantly evolving environment.

  • Experience in inspection, audit, non-conformity management, or continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate activities related to quality assurance and control.
  • Conduct inspections and verifications to ensure compliance with applicable standards, procedures, and requirements.
  • Monitor non-conformities, identify root causes, and coordinate the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Participate in internal audits and follow up on recommendations.
  • Analyze data and performance indicators related to quality.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and periodic follow-ups on quality performance.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, operations teams, and various stakeholders to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Monitor action plans and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Participate in the improvement and updating of procedures, work methods, and control tools.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and propose suitable solutions.
  • Ensure traceability and documentation of quality-related activities.
  • Raise awareness and support teams in adhering to standards and best practices.
  • Participate in the preparation and presentation of quality results to various stakeholders.
