About The Position

Arcadis is seeking a meticulous, well-organized, and reliable Environmental Field Technician to join our team in our Longueuil, Quebec office. This is an opportunity for a dynamic individual looking for a career with an environmental consulting firm. Candidates must be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, and support a safe and healthy work environment. This full-time position requires a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and excellent analytical skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for field data collection, soil sampling, preparing daily reports, and analyzing and interpreting environmental data. Requirements

  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
  • Hold a valid ASP Construction card
  • Hold a technical qualification in environmental studies or a related field, or have field experience in the characterization and remediation of contaminated sites
  • Excellent knowledge of French and knowledge of English (an asset); English proficiency is considered an asset to support collaboration with some colleagues and external stakeholders.

  • Ability and willingness to work outdoors on construction sites and operational sites
  • Initiative, organization, attention to detail, responsibility, and autonomy
  • Availability for frequent travel throughout Quebec
