Requirements

• At least two years of experience and a vocational diploma (DEP) in appliance repair
• Valid driver's license (must have a clean driving record)
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Professional and courteous telephone etiquette
• Highly developed technical, investigative, and analytical skills
• Punctuality and reliability are essential
• Must be organized and meticulous
• Being bilingual (French, English – spoken and written) is necessary for frequent interactions with English and French-speaking customers in our stores, colleagues, and/or internal partners/suppliers across Canada

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and professional in-home service to customers for major home appliances
• Perform appliance assessments to determine the problem
• Resolve installation issues
• Estimate repair/replacement costs
• Order parts and ensure adequate stock is maintained
• Communicate with customers regarding assessment details and required maintenance
• Provide information to help customers achieve optimal product performance
• Complete all service documentation, describing repairs in detail and identifying repaired stock
• Adhere to all health and safety, security, building, and service procedures
• Ensure proper maintenance of shop tools and vehicles
• Prepare reports
