About The Position

BioAlerts is seeking a Quality Control Technician – Supervision Stream. This position will begin as a 12-month maternity leave replacement, combining laboratory work and supervision, with the goal of transitioning to a permanent Team Lead position upon the return of the person being replaced. This role offers a progressive integration path, with a training period alongside the current team to ensure a smooth knowledge transfer, rather than just a temporary replacement.

Requirements

  • DEC or Bachelor's degree in biology, biotechnology, chemical engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience (junior profiles and recent graduates with relevant practical internships are accepted).
  • Mandatory experience in a laboratory / quality control setting.
  • Proficiency with computer tools and ERP systems (Prextra).
  • Exemplary autonomy, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative temperament.
  • Mastery of French.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality control analyses and tests on chemistry cartridges and products in the laboratory.
  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, create and update operational procedures.
  • Document analysis results, manage deviations, and participate in continuous improvement projects with R&D teams.
  • Plan daily production operations (e.g., monitor manufacturing batches of cartridges according to schedules).
  • Coordinate and supervise a small production team (2 people) in a collaborative and supportive spirit.
  • Act as a resource person in the field when slowdowns or technical problems arise.
  • Ensure smooth communication between production management, the laboratory, and the workshop.
