About The Position

The Process Technician will be part of the maintenance team and will take care of preventive and corrective maintenance in close collaboration with the other members of the team. The candidate will be called upon to work different shifts depending on the needs of the department (vacation, leave, absence). The candidate may be called outside of these working hours to resolve problems with the maintenance team.

Requirements

• You hold a DEC in industrial electronics
• You hold a C License
• Pass the Wonderbrands Electrical Mechanical Assessment test once selected
• You have at least 2 years of experience in an automated environment.
• You care about the health and safety of your colleagues as well as yourself
• You have leadership and teamwork skills;
• You are resourceful, autonomous, diligent and punctual

Nice To Haves

• You have a good knowledge of programming and troubleshooting of PLCs will be an asset

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance work on production equipment including inspection, assembly/disassembly and all other related work.
• Work in interaction with other positions.
• Work under the responsibility of supervisors and maintenance director
• Support the team for any electrical and technical deficiencies
• Updating electrical plans with the file (Autocad)
• Carry out preventive electrical maintenance
• Work to improve the process using the Allen Bradley, Omron program
• Be responsible for the line departure on the bread line
• Interpret electrical plans and modify them if necessary
• Prepare upcoming projects
• Support and inform the electrical maintenance teams, the quality department, supervision regarding the identification of problems related to equipment, processes and quality standards.
• All other related tasks related to operations.
