By joining the company, you will make an impact in the following ways: Provide technical support and participate in troubleshooting during various equipment breakdowns; Plan and coordinate maintenance work to be carried out on different production equipment in order to minimize equipment downtime; Organize work according to department objectives and production deadlines; Provide the necessary supervision to ensure the safe management of various maintenance activities to be performed; Create work orders based on identified needs; Monitor work progress to ensure it is completed on time; Participate in daily meetings with the maintenance team to discuss daily objectives, results achieved, and communicate important information; Help maintain a harmonious and collaborative work environment within the team and promote the company’s culture, values, and policies; Perform any other tasks related to the role.
Requirements
- Vocational diploma (completed and verified prior to start)
- 3 years of experience as a maintenance technician or equivalent in a private, public, government, or military environment
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of laws and regulations related to health and safety (an asset)
