About The Position

The Technician performs preventive maintenance and repairs on rental equipment in a safe and effective manner to minimize downtime. The fleet varies by location and primarily includes aerial work platforms, general construction tools, and equipment. Specialty-line locations may also handle large-scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil and gas-related equipment. The role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of equipment and develop skills for a career in service or operations management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• May need to provide tools of the trade.
• Bilingual ability in Spanish or another language may be required depending on location needs.

Nice To Haves

• Some trade school or equivalent training.
• One to three years of Technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty-lines equipment such as large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC, or oil and gas equipment.
