About The Position
Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Technician to perform preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and complex repairs on equipment in a safe and effective manner to help avoid downtime. The fleet varies by location and primarily includes aerial work platforms, general construction tools, and equipment. Specialty-line locations may also have large-scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil and gas-related equipment. The role offers an opportunity to work on varied makes, models, and equipment, build skills for a career in service or operations management, and work with a safety-focused team.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting.
- Advanced knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- May need to provide tools of the trade.
Nice To Haves
- Some trade school or equivalent training.
- Five or more years of Technician experience with similar diesel or heavy equipment, or specialty-line equipment such as large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC, or oil and gas equipment.
