Requirements

Must be well-versed and knowledgeable with Ford vehicles.
Must know FDRS and IDS diagnostic equipment.
Must be able to accurately diagnose Ford-specific gas engine drivability concerns and systems.
Ability to work on a wide range of Ford vehicles from passenger cars to medium-duty trucks.
Experience with electronic module and component diagnosis.
Proficiency in advanced networking and wire repair.
Experience with module programming and mechanical repairs.
Ability to perform routine maintenance, minor recalls, reprograms, and small repairs.
Experience reconditioning used vehicles.
Experience with retail, warranty, and ESP repairs.

Nice To Haves

Experience with complex and advanced electronics/engine management.
Experience with ignition systems.
Experience with gas fuel injection/fuel systems and operation.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex drivability issues in Ford gasoline-powered engines and their supporting electronic systems.
Perform repairs related to check engine/wrench lights, evaporative emissions, electronic modules and components, advanced networking, wire repair, and module programming.
Conduct mechanical repairs on a wide range of Ford vehicles, from passenger cars to medium-duty trucks.
Perform routine maintenance, minor recalls, reprograms, and small repairs utilizing a state-of-the-art mobile service van.
Recondition used vehicles for dealership sale or wholesale.
Handle retail, warranty, and ESP repairs of all types, including electronics, drivetrain, engines, transmissions, and HVAC.
