About The Position

Newmont is seeking a Technician, Warehouse, Red Seal for its Brucejack Gold Mine in northern British Columbia. This role is crucial for supporting safe and efficient warehousing operations, including shipping/receiving, materials management, and inventory control. The technician will operate heavy equipment and ensure accurate delivery, storage, and recording of materials to support daily site operations and ongoing projects. The Brucejack mine is a high-grade underground mine located approximately 65 kilometers north of Stewart, operating on a fly-in/fly-out basis with pick-up points across Western Canada. Requirements

• Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyperson Parts Technician certification
• Warehousing experience, preferably in an industrial or mining setting
• Proficient with forklift, reach truck, loader, and pallet jack operation
• Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
• Team player with a proactive, safety-focused attitude

Nice To Haves

• Experience with SAP or similar inventory systems

Responsibilities

• Support a safe and healthy work environment by following site safety protocols and hazard reporting
• Assist with shipping/receiving duties, unloading trucks, checking in goods, and staging customer orders
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklift, reach truck, loader, and pallet jack
• Maintain inventory records, track incoming/outgoing materials, and enter data into logistics software
• Perform physical stock handling, including lifting, bending, and organizing warehouse goods
• Maintain clean and organized workspaces in accordance with housekeeping standards
• Rotate through night shift and other scheduled shifts as needed
• Perform other tasks as required by the Team Lead, Warehouse (Supervisor), or Lead, Warehouse (Superintendent)
