About The Position
IPEX Inc. designs and manufactures one of the world's most diverse lines of integrated thermoplastic piping systems--pipe, valves, fittings, auxiliary components and tools--all engineered from the ground up to handle the full range of today's municipal, industrial, commercial and residential applications. We are currently looking for a Red Seal Millwright to work in our Langley plant.
Requirements
- Red Seal Millwright certificate and a minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience on related repair, maintenance and installation of equipment pertinent to a production shop environment.
- A strong focus on continuous improvement and attention to detail is a must.
- Strong organizational and communication skills that include the ability to read, comprehend ideas, information, complete reports and forms.
- Ability to work in a team environment under the direction of the Maintenance Manager.
- Availability to work non-scheduled overtime for major breakdowns.
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs, troubleshooting and maintenance of machine shop industrial machinery and related equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment and facilities.
- Complete and maintain maintenance forms, records and log books of the equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, air, and hydraulic systems related to our equipment.
- Isolate and identify causes of malfunctions on production equipment.
- Keep maintenance shop area clean and organized.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
